Not Being Afraid of Seeking the Depth of God 11•30•25

Scripture teaches he made his wealth by charging people more than required. St. Luke 3:13 NKJV reinforces that tax collectors who became rich were often thieves. Yet his name meant “pure one,” showing that God always sees beyond reputation and labels. When Zaccheus climbed the tree to see Jesus, he modeled the first step in seeking depth: desire. Jesus responded to that desire by calling him by name, entering his house, and transforming his life.
